On Saturday December 6 in the evening around 6pm, the people of Sekyere Afram Plains in the eastern part of Ghana were hit with a bad news as two Fulani herdsmen attacked Yaw Balamosa and his pregnant wife.

Narrating the story on Peace fm's midday news was Honourable Fuseini Donkor. According to him,the Fulani were friends with the deceased and was served with food upon their arrival at the house.

The attack: As per the wife, one of the man picked a cutlass and assaulted the expired on the back of the neck, he kicked the bucket immediately. Seeing this awful scene, the wife running with her little child was ceased by the other man delivering cutlass wounds on her,the mother survived and is as of now getting treatment at the healing facility. After the demonstration the Fulani men took some cash and a firearm of the expired offering ghc1 to the most seasoned of the four kids who is 10years old.

Motive for the killing: Apart from other motives to reports, the motive for the attack was that the deceased had sold eighty bags of charcoal the previous day which cost about Ghc800. This was confirmed after one of the attackers was arrested on Monday.
